Limekiln Lighthouse
Kayaking along the west side of San Juan Island with the sun setting behind me, the lighthouse at the edge of the water was washed in light.

While living in the San Juans during Summer Break, I spent an evening out kayaking along the shoreline towards Limekiln Point. The lighthouse and the moon made for an interesting subject from the kayak.

Part of San Juan's agriculture is hay and straw for the local farms. It's simpler to grow your own than to send it by ferry to the island.
Frost on Barbed Wire
Early in the morning, before the sun had risen. Fog of the river had created small ice crystals along the barbed wire.
Foggy Dock
A small boat dock on Diamond Lake is enveloped by fog before the rising sun burns it off. The fog was lifting off the center of the lake and a gentle wind was blowing it past the dock.
